Hello and welcome to my website. My name  is Katie. I have a BA (Hons) Art degree and  have always had a passion for drawing nature  and wildlife, particularly animals.
When drawing animals I enjoy taking time to  carefully use colours to gradually produce  layers suited to colour and texture.  I enjoy  paying attention to detail to reflect intricacies  of an animal's appearance and character.  It's  always rewarding to create a final piece  which is unique and individual whether it's  for a special gift or keepsake.  Having a  drawing of a pet is a lovely way to celebrate  and capture their individuality.

 Frequently asked questions:
 How long does my pet portrait take?
My waiting list is normally 4-8 weeks,  depending on busier periods such as  Christmas. September is the best time to get  in an order for Christmas. If you have a last  minute order, I will try my best to  accommodate your needs. If it's not possible,  I sell gift vouchers which are a popular  alternative, presented nicely as a gift.  

 What format do my photos need to be  in?
A digital format is usually preferred and can  be sent by e mail.  This needs to be in as  high a resolution as possible to give good  detail.  Photos with natural light are  encouraged, not use of a flash.  If you prefer  to send original photos by post ,  that is also  fine.

 Can I order a portrait for any pet?
Yes!  Any pet is fine to draw, provided the  photos are of good enough quality.

 Can you ship outside the UK?
Yes!  I can ship outside the UK and will give  you payment details for shipping.  Portraits  sent abroad will be sent in a mount but a  glass frame is not included.
